​​Annelise Best is a Chicago-based actor from Dallas, Texas. She received her B.F.A. in acting from the University of Oklahoma School of Drama where she trained in improv, Shakespeare, acting for film and television, and contemporary and classical drama performance. ​​

Annelise acts to continually deepen her own capacity for empathy, and to channel it in a way that hopefully helps people become more empathic to themselves and for others. She also loves making people laugh!

 

As an actor, she believes her duty is simply to allow a character to live through her for a brief moment in time.
